A sudden click, a shutter
A flash to go off
My hands holding an object
An object meant to capture more than just a picture
With an unbreakable grip
As if it were a fragile piece of some notable glass
Held on a tightrope
As I sped by, the sun shone brighter than the last time
A moment that could never be reclaimed
Only this time, I could not capture it
A dismal feeling I held
And soon, the sun fell and the darkness arose
Where a quietude was found
With no sudden click, nor a shutter
